Beckham included in AC Milan’s UEFA Europa League plans

David Beckham is set to make an appearance in the next round of the UEFA Europa League with AC Milan after Carlo Ancelotti included the England international in his UEFA Europa League squad.

Beckham has been in fine form for AC Milan since joining the club on loan, and his inclusion in the squad for the knockout stages of the UEFA Europa League has fueled speculation that he may extend his stay at the San Siro.

“Beckham is becoming an indispensable player for us and he deserves credit for the intelligent way he is playing,” Ancelotti told Milan’s official Web site. “We want to take advantage of his form for the two matches against Werder Bremen.”

While Beckham’s stay in Milan was only meant to last 2 months, the midfielder’s form may tempt AC Milan to make a bid for his services.

“He is a player owned by LA Galaxy and it won’t be easy keeping him with us,” Milan’s Chief Officer Adriano Galliani told Sky Sports. “But at this moment he is an important player.”
